Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

I want to share a book that I think is very much worth reading at any age even though it was published as a children's book. The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo.

Edward Tulane, a china rabbit, is owned by a young girl named Abilene. Abilene adores Edward, but her adoration is unfortunately not returned by Edward. On the family vacation, Edward is thrown overboard into the sea. Thus begins his miraculous journey from home to home and owner to owner.  Will he eventually learn to love?

Adventure, mystery, romance, and more play out in this achingly beautiful book. And although the story is enough on its own, there are magnificent drawings throughout that also bring the story to life.

Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
