Remember my post from December about suggestions for the Teen Collection? Well, it does work-thanks to a suggestion Dobbs now owns the Poseur series. Check 'em out and if you have a suggestion put it in the suggestion box in the Teen Zone, make a comment on this blog, or email me at aquick@wlsmail.org.

Series List Now Online
I feel silly that I just discovered that you can add up to 10 pages to a Blogger Blog. Therefore, I now have the YA series list, that is in a folder in the Teen Zone, online. So if you want to know what book comes next in a series, or what series Dobbs Ferry owns check out the new YA Series page. (The link is between the Blog Title and the box where posts appear.)

Smile by Raina Telgemeier
Raina is a regular eleven year old going through all the things that most kids that age go through. Except she thinks she is completely alone. Wait, that is like every other kid too. To make things worse she not only has to deal with growing up, not so nice friends, and her annoying family. She also has to deal with dental problems that result from a freak fall, which knocks out her two front teeth. Everyone can find something to relate to in this graphic novel coming of age story.

Attention Teens Looking for a Job
The Westchester Library System has created a database to help teens find job and volunteer opportunities. You can search many different ways including location, paid/unpaid, type of job, and so on. So check it out at http://www.westchesterlibraries.org/teenjobfinder/. Please keep in mind that this is meant to put you in contact with people that hire teens, and that the particular company/organization may not have any current available jobs. As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please feel free to contact me at aquick@wlsmail.org
